SMALL SPACE Gym Set Up
Have you ever seen more Instagram live workouts than these few weeks during quarantine? I think it’s great to see everyone keeping connected in a time like this. I’ve always preferred to workout at home with my few essentials - you don’t need all the big machines to get a good sweat on!
YOGA MATT
I have come across the Manduka Yoga brand in my search for an eco-friendly matt option. Considering how close you are with your matt on a daily basis I wanted to make sure it was an ethical and chemical free purchases.
FREE WEIGHTS
You really don’t need an abundance of weights, a lighter and heavier set that fit your comfort level do the trick. Keeping with the aesthetic i’ve opted for the classic iron hex dumbbells. If you have a full home gym to work out, I’d suggest balling out and going with an all chrome set like this.
SKIP ROPE
A skip-rope is great for a burst of cardio in-between sets.
SLIDERS
These simple but efficient sliders are great to amp up the resistance on mountain climbers and squats and skaters.
KETTLE BELL
I love kettle bells because they are very versatile in many workout moves. This chart shows good range of exercises they can be used for.
BANDS
These are great because they add that extra resistance when needed, and they take up very little space. I like this non-slip set. These classic rubber bands also work well, and a bit less $.
MEDICINE BALL
My favorite medicine ball workout is a classic Russion Twist. Here are a few more workouts to try out.
