TODDLER FRIENDLY Christmas Ornaments

Toddler friendly or “unbreakable" ornaments is not something you think of until you have a little one running around. Personally I don’t have the extra energy to be chasing him more than I already am or have time for sweeping up broken bulbs. So I thought this would be a good test year to test his “dont touch” skills while finding other unbreakable solutions to put on the tree. This year i’m really falling behind in the decorations department. We are still getting adjusted and unpacked and organized in our new house and I realized the last few years we haven’t really decorated, being in a limbo space and traveling we didn’t feel like it was “worth it”. So this year having a new home we really want to make it a special and magical year, especially with a little one. The holidays are always more magical this time of year seeing it through a kids eyes. We are starting pretty much from scratch for ornaments & decorations, and as for a tree in the past we have always got a real one. I love the magic of going to pick one out and excitement of brining it home, but i’m not sure how the needles will work with Max running around… i’ll be sure to report back! But I know one thing is for sure, I don’t want to be sweeping up broken bulbs and stressing that he is going to break them. Max is just shy of 16 months now so he knows the meaning of “no” but you know there are always slip ups, especially with cool new things. So here, on my search for new toddler friendly ornaments I thought I would share my findings.
