House Tour: A Modern Styled Natural Abode

Today’s tour is a good one! But then again, aren’t they all? I’ve recently discovered the work of Brady Tolbert. I find his style so unique and well put together. I sense a refined boho vibe with a hint of edgy modernism. On a regular basis, you will catch me oogling through his IG @bradytolbert, go check it for yourself. Let’s get into the space, shall we?

Design Notes:

:: The Artwork, ALL of it. I’ve been obsessed (also eyeing for our pad) Block Shop Textile Prints for a while now; every time I fall in love all over again. I love how he stacked them over the fireplace. The black and white abstract art in the build-in is a great & stylish filler.

:: Use of white wall vs. walnut panelling. I mean the statement speaks for itself. A bold statement & very well done.

:: The duo leather loungers, loving this worn leathered look.

:: Love the light rug, its simple, clean and lets the room speak for itself but still adds warmth and defines the space.

:: The built-in shelf. It is an odd space to work with; he styled it very well. Love a good shelfie moment.

:: The coffee table is pure perfection. There are a lot of boxy elements in the space, this evens out the flow of the space divinely.

:: A tiny detail, but I love the globe side lamp with the amber glass <3

:: You didn’t think I wouldn’t mention the wall hanging did you! I’m scheming as I type how I can DIY this piece. Yes, you’ve seen Macrame wall hangings plastered all over, but this is so different and unique. Don’t be surprised if you see my next DIY looking veeeeery similar;)

:: The space overall is simple yet so very interesting and doesn’t take way from the *gorgeous view. Very well done.
