Getting There:

After a few days exploring the rest of the Puerto Rico this was the last leg of our trip to disconnect and relax. By car from San Juan it was about a 1.5 hour drive, you defiantly need to rent a car for the trek there. It is a straight shot highway that makes it a fairly easy drive. Once you arrive they greet you very kindly and guide you by golf cart to your villa and help with your bags. The villas are next to each other but with the density of the trees we never felt like we had neighbors at all. The property itself is a beautiful golf course, the grounds can be appreciated even if you’re not there to golf (like us).

First Impressions:

Truly, it felt like our own little slice of heaven. Like I said that staff gave us a warm welcome and was very accommodating even with our later arrival time. When we arrived we instantly fell in love with our very own casita. It was clean, spacious and overlooking the ocean with a private hot tub. The bathroom had a walk through shower to the outdoor deck, love at first site if you will. We arrived at night and enjoyed the outdoor hot-tub under the stars listening to all of the night creatures chat. A perfect warm welcome after long travel day.

The Design & Experience:

A perfectly designed tropical Casita, covering 1,500 sf of an indoor/outdoor space was truly so romantic. The entire casita had a view of the ocean from the moment that you wake up. The entire suite had a romantic Mediterranean vibe, that felt so comfortable. The main attraction to the space was the view and hot tub onto the terrace with the absolute dreamiest view! The pictures defiantly don’t do this casita justice. A few minute walk down the road we found a windy path down to a private beach that was stunning. It felt like we were the only ones in the world. To this day it is still one of our favorite memories. The hotel and main lobby had the same dreamy Spanish style throughout, I can see why people get married here. This was a random hotel find for us that absolutely did not disappoint.

Would We Wake Up Here Again?

This was possibly one of our favorite hotel stays. We’ve talked about going back with family, or any special occasion to celebrate. This wold also be a fantastic place to honeymoon or a great wedding/anniversary gift. We can’t wait to go back to. Is it this little slice of heaven.
